How much cloud repatriation is there? Or, you can't repatriate what never left. // Early Apple Intelligence results are weird, but OK. // Plus, links and fun finds from the World Wide Web.
I noticed the Barclays research skews to medium to large enterprises (less than 10,000 FTEs across the org). My sense is the megacorps are way less than 50% in the cloud, but I can see 50/50 in small to med size orgs. There's also probably a skew across industries w/ regulated firms being less in public cloud by workload count. Also agreed that SaaS spend is a monkey wrench in some of these surveys if you're trying to identify only IaaS/PaaS which would be the focus under this context

The demographics are a good point - I haven’t gone in and thought about that part in detail.
